amaterasu is the strongest physical attack of mangekyou sharingan which is cast by right eye. When amaterasu is used, the powerful burning black flame will be able to burn for seven day and night. Anything that are in the mangekyou sharingan vision will burn to ash if consumed by black flame. The chakra used for this is very high and will have side effects which includes accelleration to the blindness of user right eye.
